General Information:

• There is limited on-site parking, however they have another secured parking lot across A1A/Collins Ave. Ask at the check-in counter for a parking permit and a security code to get into the parking lot.
• Generally, you will need a car if you are planning on going to South Beach, Malls, Restaurants. However, there is an Avis rental agency directly across the street. Taxis can be expensive to go to South Beach, so we strongly recommend getting a car if going down there.
• There is a grocery store about a block away. Very walkable.
• Several beautiful malls can be found in the area in case of a rainy day.
• Great Italian Restaurant is on the grounds of the resort. They serve launch/dinner as well as hot dogs/hamburgers for lunch.
• There is a poolside bar for all your drinking pleasures.
• On site you will also find a spa and a library with Internet connection (limited to 15 minutes).
• One thing we have noticed is that everyone is VERY slow-concierge, check-in, bar/restaurant people. But you have nowhere to hurry, right? YOU ARE ON VACATION!

MIA (Miami International Airport):

• Follow signs to I-95 North
• Take SR-826, exit 12B
• Continue straight until you hit A1A/Collins Avenue. You will be right next to the beach.
• Turn left on A1A/Collins Avenue and Golden Strand will be on your right.
• Use Yahoo! Directions service to get detailed directions

FLL (Fort Lauderdale International Airport)

• Follow signs to US-1 South/Hollywood
• Turn right on E Hallandale Beach Blvd
• Turn right on S Ocean Dr/A1A South
• Continue on A1A/Collins Ave
• Golden Strand will be on your left, but you can not turn into it. You have to make a U-turn and turn right into the parking lot
• Use Yahoo! Directions service to get detailed directions

• Turn right onto SR-826. Continue until I-95
• Take I-95 South, I-95 South becomes US1
• Stay on US1, follow that road until the SW 27th Avenue intersection
• Take SW 27th Ave. South (left) until you reach S. Bayshore Drive (approximately 5 minutes)
• At the intersection of SW 27th Ave. and S. Bayshore Dr. turn right to the center of Coconut Grove
• Turn left on Grand Ave. The CocoWalk Parking Garage entrance will be on your right.

A pedestrian-only street mall in South Beach, with specialty shops featuring jewelry, electronics, clothing and art, plus an assortment of restaurants. At one time a haven for eclectic small shops, the mall has come to favor large national retail chains. A place where locals hang out.
